This is the last one.

To start with, I would say that my Summary of learning project represents what I have learned in this class. Before this class I had done some work in InDesign and thought I was familiar with the program. Going into the first project I was excited because I hadn’t used InDesign in a while and I was looking forward to getting back into it. I didn’t remember as much as I thought I would but this class allowed me to remember what I already knew and helped me improve my skills. Now back to my point.. This project was done in InDesign because it is the program I find myself enjoying the most. The graphic includes other programs like Photoshop because you learn to use them alongside InDesign. The graphic is meant to attract students to take the class by showing them some of the different things they will learn during this class. To me, this class taught me new things and helped improve the skills I already had in several programs that are very useful to know.

The format of the course worked well in my opinion. Each week was different but similar enough that it wasn’t confusing when switching between projects and programs. Using canvas was new for me but I think it worked very well. The calendar was helpful and it was always clear what needed to be done.

Blogging every week was also new for me and turned out to be a lot better than I thought it would be. Going in I thought it was going to be a chore but it turned out to be a great way to express what happened during the week. As for the public audience, I think it helps in a way because it makes you think more about what you are going to say. I personally want everything to make sense and look professional (spelling and grammar).

Like I said earlier, this class helped me improve my Photoshop, InDesign and writing skills. Combing all of these things together, and including other things like time management, it is clear that this class helped me grow in many ways that will be useful to me in the future.
