It was quite the challenge to switch gears this week and familiarize myself with InDesign again!
Although it took some brushing up, I was able to create a dummy layout using my Fortune 500 organization. I chose ESPN because sports is the area of PR I am pursuing. As I looked for a good story ESPN The Magazine produced, I found the most relative one to my current lifestyle. They recently did a story over Baker Mayfield and published it online, so I took some of the content from the beginning of the piece and incorporated a picture of him, the same title and deck from the story, a byline and a pull quote. Even though all of these aspects were taken from the original article, I was able to arrange it differently and make the photo of Baker the focal point so that the following three pages would be awesome content and a few other photos to positively represent OU football and Baker Mayfield.
I really enjoyed this project and look forward to completing the other pages as a continuation of this incredible story by ESPN!
