GUYS!

THIS IS IT.

Finally, we have come to the end of our journey in PR Pubs. It hasn’t been as smooth as I originally thought that it would be but looking back, I can honestly say that this class taught me a lot.

Reflecting on PR Pubs

For my summary of learning, I opted to created an infographic using Canva. I came up with 4 tips that one needs to be successful in PR Pubs. Those tips are:

  1. Manage Your Time Wisely
  2. Don’t Be Afraid to Start Over
  3. Sketches are Your Friend
  4. Utilize Adam

I chose these 4 tips because these are things that I wish someone would’ve told me back when I was a PR Pubs novice.  I hope that someone finds them useful.

This course challenged me in more ways than one. From work being due on Thursday (as compared to Sunday in all of my other online classes) to having to learn all new software, there was a lot to take in with this course.

I think my favorite part of this course was journaling each and every week. It was really nice to have an outlet to vent my successes and frustrations on without fearing repercussions. This was my space throughout the semester and I treated it as such.

Writing for a public audience was an absolute thrill. I think given more practice, this is something that I could be really good at. I enjoyed doing that more than I thought that I would.

Lastly, I feel as if I grew when it came to tacking something that I did not fully know how to do. I still do not like Photoshop at all but I do know that it was good to be at least introduced to it in this course.

I’ve used this gif before but since it’s the end, I feel like it’s proper to use it again.

I’ve enjoyed my time in this course and am curious to see where I go next.

Calvin, out.
