It’s crazy to think that we are nearing the end of our journey in PR Pubs. I can think back to many, many nights where I was stressed out, depressed and honestly doubting whether or not I was going to make it to this point.

When this class first started, I thought to myself “this can’t be THAT bad, can it?”

(That’s me facing the challenge of PR Pubs head-on^^^^)

I’ll never forget bootcamp week, and how all of those videos seemed to go on and on and on

But then it was almost as if, a light went off somewhere and we were presented with our first major project of the semester, the business card.

I personally feel as if this was by FAR my best project of the semester. It started out kinda slowly but when it picked up, it turned out to be quite the masterpiece.

And then we went to Photoshop

I really feel as if I never got as comfortable as I should’ve been with Photoshop and I know my work DEFINITELY showed it.

Looking back it, I wish I would’ve been able to give that assignment a little more effort than I did. Sure, I never got as comfortable with Photoshop as I did say, Microsoft Word but I know if I had a whole semester with it, I would probably be able to produce some great art.

I’ll admit, this class was a definitely an experience. I have a new found respect for the graphic design part of PR. Even though computers are available to make the job “easier” it still demands all of your attention, always.  When I first decided that I wanted to major in PR, I knew it was because I loved writing and I can’t see that changing anytime soon.

However,

I know that if I AM presented with a graphic design project, at least I’ll have a solid foundation and will have, at the very least, been introduced to the tools that I’m to use for it Summary of Learning
