Last week I talked about how it was the best project I have ever done, and I have to admit I was very, very wrong. This week was the most exciting, most fun project ever!
We were asked to pick another company or organization and do a design project on it. I decided to pick Neiman Marcus, a fashion store that is placed all around the world. It is one of my favorite stores, so what better than to do a place I am very influenced by. With this company, we were asked to create a Facebook cover page, an Instagram post, a Twitter header, and a Pinterest post.
I was very excited from the start! I decided to go with the theme of gold and purple, a signature color of Neiman Marcus. I also picked an event that will be going on in a few weeks, Black Friday sales. With each project, I managed to incorporate the two colors and an aspect of mentioning the sale.
When it was all complete, I was very happy! I put all of my designs side by side and noticed they all perfectly corresponded with one another. Each were different in their own way, but were all brought back for the same cause.
My reaction was happiness because I am very proud of what I achieved! I worked many hours on this, and to see them all look fairly great, makes me very happy!
Lastly, I really enjoyed the work with Canva. It is a cute site, that is also very helpful. Everything is laid out for you, you just have to design what you want. It brings a table that is set for anyone to use!
