This week we focused on finishing up our direct mailers. I found this assignment more difficult than the last big assignment with the business cards and letterheads. I was much less happy with what I was able to come up with, but I find photoshop to be much more difficult than Indesign. Part of me wanted to just ditch photoshop and go back to indesign to do this project, but I knew I had to stick with it. That being said, I did learn a lot about photoshop while working on these direct mailers. I started out being completely confused and by the end I was able to at least get something going. I tried to make my work more focused toward my target public with this final draft. The most work was on the first one, and the second one I just shaped up a bit and added another image. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t to dull or boring. I know that the two are very similar looking, but they are slightly different depending on which public they were meant for. I am learning a lot and I know that I will be able to do much better with more practice.
