This is it, the final reflection! I had a lot of fun reflecting on this class while making my summary of learning project. I chose to use Storybird to create a picture book because I loved the idea of it, and it’s also something new that I haven’t used before. The idea for my storybook was to show me and my emotions as I went through this course. I definitely had a wide range of emotions, as you will see in my book! This represents the struggles and victories I had, what I enjoyed, what I didn’t enjoy, and what I got out of this class in the end. Making this was a lot of fun and I’m glad I was able to discover Storybird before I left this class, I’ll definitely be using it again. Check out my project right here! (Note: Storybird would not let me embed the story or make a social post because it is a student account. I tried! But, this link will take you right to it!)

As far as this class, I feel like it was great overall. For an online class, it was easy to follow along and everything was a lot of fun. I grew a lot in this course as far as losing my fear of design and I also feel like a much more creative person. I was nervous that I would have no vision or ideas, which I’m still not the greatest at, but I feel like I have more ideas than what I thought I had before this class. These blogs were nice, and being able to see everyone else’s was cool to. I really liked that since I could see what others were doing and learn from them. The only suggestion I have is to include more in the lessons about what is expected, for example, I had no idea what a direct mailer was and had to do a lot of research online to figure out what it’s supposed to look like. Had information like that been included in the lesson, I think I would have been able to do a better job. Overall, an awesome class!
