Our first from-scratch assignment for our publications class was to create a business card for a company of our choosing. As discussed in a previous blog entry, I chose Boeing to cover.
Here is the front of my business card. Please don’t dial the numbers because I won’t answer (they’re very much random):
And here is the back:
The back of the business card pays homage to the centennial of the company, which I think is very important for my marketing campaign.
Going into the assignment, I was terrified of using inDesign, per usual, but this assignment was actually easier than I anticipated. Over the past week, I’ve done some more learning within inDesign, so I think my confidence and ability has gone up marginally, which is what probably made me feel more comfortable. The card is still a work in progress. Ideally, I’d like to get a clearer logo for the back of the card, but I personally think this will serve as a good jumping off point.
