This week, we began work on our letterhead. I ran into some big problems this week. Rather, I ran into one big problem. My InDesign was simply not working. Every time I tried to open it, it said it “has stopped working” and would crash. I spent probably four hours this week simply trying to figure out the problem so that I could start work on my letterhead. I ended up having to create a new windows user account and from that account I had to uninstall and reinstall the app. I still can’t get it to work on my original windows account, so if anyone else knows what’s going on and has some tips, feel free to share.

Now, down to what the week was about. The letterhead I felt was more up my ally than the business card. It still was difficult and definitely isn’t perfect, but I felt like I knew what I was doing more than the business card. I know what letterheads should look like, so I tried my best to get mine to look that way. Overall, I’m not ecstatic with what I did, but I think it’s a good start. After making my revisions I think it will be a pretty good letterhead. I need to work on not having such generic and boring fonts. If I had to describe what I did I know it would be generic and boring, but that’s to be expected just starting out.
