I have now entered the interesting journey of making my own business card. I really like the idea of making and designing my own business card, but I have no idea where to start.
For the career I want to pursue I will be given a government business card for whatever section of government I am working for. But I still am excited to make a personalized one. My first thoughts were about how I was going to make a business card that looked professional but still embodied who I am as a person. Since I want to go into government it only made sense to make the red, white and blue. But I also didn’t want it to look funny, so I went for a darker navy blue.
Overall I know this is a very rough draft, but I’m pleased with it based on the amount of experience I’ve had with indesign overall. I think I’m so excited about making a business card because it reminds me of the future and the career I hope to have. It also makes me feel like an actual professional adult.
Here’s my work so far, I know it isn’t great, or even the correct size, but I’m working on it. I promise it will be better. I’m thinking of adding stars around the circle, but we’ll see…
