4. Now go one level deeper: Why do you think your reaction was what it was?
This unit, we were asked to do quite a few things. The first thing we were suppose to do was learn about stakeholder and what the influence they have on a specific thing/organization/company. Then we were asked to create a target stakeholder for OU recruitment services. Next, we were asked to make a matrix about that particular demographic. Then, we were asked to create a direct mailer. Then we needed to read a chapter and respond to it. Finally, we were asked to create this blog post.
Phew, I lost my breath just trying to type that all out!
Initially, I thought I was drowning in work, but then once I started doing it, I realized it all ties together and there was no way it could have been broken up into different units.
I am not very pleased with my direct mailer. I don’t know why, but I think that those are not my strong suit. I think I did everything else to the best of my ability though. I just wish I was better at Photoshop to create a better mailer. I think I used the most basic tools, I just don’t even envision what I am trying to create which might be the problem to begin with. Hopefully, something more creative will come to me.
