Color
I definitely think this flyer shows color. It attracted my eye when I first saw it and makes me want to read flyer. The use of color draws the attention when you use bright and contrasting colors.
Typography
This flyer for a saxophone recital uses fun typography instead of the normal Times New Roman. It uses a more relaxed font to compare with the recital and to draw in the audience. I think this an effective way to use typography.
Form/Function/Message
I think this is effective because it is visually appealing and uses different typography but in an effective way. The function and message is to inform about both The Firebird and Once Open A Dream. On the back it gives more information on the event and who to contact.
Use of Space
This is an effective way of using space. It is a great business card by being informative and clean. I have all the information I need if I wanted to contact the School of Dance.
Balance
This is a specific flyer in a book filled with other shows the University Theater is showing. I think they all have a good balance of photography and information about the certain shows. You have all the information you need about these shows.
