For my summary of learning I have decided to take a mixed-medium approach. I will be creating a story book using photo-shopped and graphically altered images of myself to tell the story of my PR Publications adventure.

My story book will be 14 pages long with each page being devoted to one week of PR Publications. I have decided to model the writing of my book in the style of a children’s bedtime story. The book will start off with an excited, young version of myself running around frantically and confused and will end with a pleased, and sleepy version of myself celebrating the success of my semester. I will layout each page in InDesign and plan on using a portrait-oriented 8.5×11 frame on each of the story pages to mimic how a children’s book would be opened and have words on one side and pictures on the other. I will also design a cover and back page for the book. I will export each page as an individual pdf document and embed them into a blog post next week. When creating this book, I will attempt to utilize every software and method we learned during the entire semester.

Fortunately, I should not have to complete additional research in order to craft this story. All of this semester has been about using the same programs which will be used to craft this book. I am so excited to get working on this project and I’m anxious to reveal it to the world next week!
