My name is Paloma Pineda and I’m a senior majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Psychology. My three favorite things are my family, OU and my hometown, Fort Worth, Texas. I’m a full-time student as well as a part-time teacher at a local day care. When I’m not at work or at school, you can usually find me in bed watching Netflix and eating a bag of potato chips, my guilty pleasure.
I believe in treating people with equality and respect. Treating others kindly is important to me and it has guided me, along with my morals, to be the person I am today. My biggest motivation is to be a good role model for my younger siblings. I want to be someone they can look up to and be proud of. I use design in my life to create small projects. Usually any project I have, for example furnishing my home, begins with a design, a plan, some creativity and hopefully results in fulfilling my vision.
