Welcome!
My name is Toni Phillips, I am a junior here at OU and my major is Public Relations with a minor in Spanish. I’m extremely excited to begin this semester. Fall is my favorite season and it’s when I do my best work. I’m still figuring out exactly what I want to do in Public Relations, but I have an interest in the social media aspect and in sports PR as well. My mind changes a lot on exactly what type of job I’m looking for, but I hope that taking a couple of internships will help me along the way and inspire me.
Design is something that I’ve been avoiding and intimidates me, but only because I really have no experience with it whatsoever. That being said, I’m excited to finally start learning these essential skills and I know I will enjoy it. Design fits into my life in a lot of ways, especially with the ever growing popularity of the internet. Computers, cell phones, flyers, billboards, business cards and everything we see in every day life involves design and that’s why I’m excited to begin this class.
