Hello! M
y name is Annie Barraza and I am from Dallas, TX. I am a junior attending the University of Oklahoma. I am majoring in Public Relations and minoring in HES. I plan on going into the field of sports public relations.
I believe that everything happens for a reason, hard work leads to success and happiness is key.
Since I plan on going into the field of sports public relations, I would consider myself involved with organizations associating with OU sports . I am the PR Director for both Sooner Sports Pad and GamedayU. I also have an internship with OU Athletics Communications Department this year. School wise, I am apart of CAC Howdy Week, Class Council, PRSSA and Camp Crimson.
What guides me is my faith and my passion to succeed. I hope to be successful in sports PR after college. This explains my true drive to get involved with the sports world at OU.
I am motivated to become successful in the business of sports PR. I am striving to get a job right after college as well as have a job I truly enjoy.
Being a PR major, design has and will become a big part of my career. Being on the PR team for Sooner Sports Pad and GamedayU, I help with the design of the social media posts regularly. Design helps me become creative with the work I present within my desired major.
