Well, another project is down. I feel like I am a new woman who is able to freely navigate Photoshop (definitely putting this on my resume..).

This unit, we were asked to create direct mailers for two different stakeholders. My first draft of my first direct mailer was a CATASTROPHE. I left out things that direct mailers need… I cried every time I opened Photoshop. I was a little baby and didn’t want to open Photoshop because I knew that I would have some intense stress and anxiety

This was literally me… I initially couldn’t even turn it in right. I was a disaster.

A new week came along and I think I had a good break from Photoshop and was ready to take it on. I think I improved! I was able to type things and change the fonts with no regrets or having to start over each time. My front to the second one- although it looked like a bunch of words, I slaved over that. I thought it was cool and unique and different.

Needless to say, as time went on, I improved my photoshop skills and you can definitely tell. I personally think I like InDesign better though because it is more user friendly.

I have taken away a lot from this unit. I don’t think I despise Photoshop as much as I once did. I learned more tools and which videos on youtube will actually help you or just confuse you more. Its time to say goodbye to unit 3 and welcome unit 4 into my life.
