This past week we learned about Public Service Announcements and how to write them. When I took Writing for Mass Media, I developed some sort of idea on how to write for broadcast. I find these assignments to be pretty fun however I always have sort of trouble with the “SFX”. I also second guess myself on what would be appropriate at the right times. Writing for broadcast is actually difficult because you only have so much time to get the audience to be aware of something and to get their attention where they go to an event you want them to go. I did have some trouble with this assignment but I think the more I practice and get feedback for my PSA, the more I can improve.
