With the semester starting to come to an end, it is time to look back at our reflections and assignments to see how far we have come. As I started from the beginning I noticed in the very first blog post we were asked the question of what motivates us. I thought about what I wrote and I what I continue to think motivates me. I wrote how I hate the feeling of giving up or disappointment and so I push back even harder.

This class simply confirmed this. The first couple assignments taught me what I was going to be doing with typography and use of space. Then came the hard stuff with InDesign and Photoshop. I am not going to lie; this class was extremely hard for me. I kept thinking it was going to be easier and it just got harder. This however did not make me want to quit, but rather motivated me more to make each assignment better than the last.

After looking at all of my reflections I do not think I ever turned a corner. I think I still have a long way to go when it comes to master these programs. The Canva assignment however did inspire me more. After that assignment I became very enthused with my work and what it could become. I definitely wish I spent the same amount of time and effort I did with the canva assignment as I did with the business card and letterhead assignment.

Without a doubt I am most proud of the final draft of the newsletter. I understand that there were several errors with spacing and the fitting of the text, but I am really proud of the design. At the beginning of the semester I would have never been able to create anything similar to that and therefore I am most proud of this assignment. I definitely grew as a public relations practitioner. Everything I observe today ranging from print, online and on television I look deeply in the message and design. I have grown to appreciate these articles or advertisements. With this understanding I think it will continue to help me grow as a professional public relations practitioner.
