When I walked into PR pubs today, I remembered that the class was going to start learning how to use Adobe Photoshop. I was so ecstatic, yet quiet in my learning. I forgot to bring my headphones to listen to tutorial videos but I didn’t care. I finally got to start learning one of my most sought after skills.

I learned about photoshop around the year 2010, but I could never understand the technical terms of layering, vectors, and other patois used in photoshop software. After watching lynda tutorial, my perspective on the complexity of photoshop has forever changed. I thought about all the possibilities. I thought about how I could use this in my other projects and how easy it would of been to design in my past projects. I was thinking of doing big projects like this or this.

Chiefly, I never pushed myself to comprehend photoshop because I held this firm belief that only artists were true masters of the program. Obviously, my beliefs have changed since then and I can not wait for the next project. I am assuming we are going to create some sort of work for the company that we researched for the previous letterhead and business card assignments. Consequently, I thought of probable images I could photoshop for it for a range of possible scenarios.
After this section of work is done with photoshop, I plan on continuing my skills outside of class because I know this skill is invaluable in multiple aspects in life and it is such a fun activity.
