It's been a long journey, but we made it. All of the time spentdesigning and redesigning a business card, figuring out how to make a direct mailer, creating some social media graphics anddiscovering new hobbies(if you want to catch up with my shenanigans Through PR Publications, explore thePR Publications tag).

I've learned so much more in these past few months than I've learned in any other course that I've taken. Everything from basic design principles, to a good chunk of the adobe creative suite, to Canva, to understanding the creative process. There's so much more to PR than writing press releases and managing social media, people won't be perceptive to a brand if they don't enjoy the content being created.
All these revelations came fromJon Hammondas we went through the creative process. Discovering and listening to him has allowed me to be more confident in creating content that I enjoy, which then translates into other people enjoying it. I've begun to define what I want to end up doing for the rest of my life and looking into the process of getting involved with internet content creation.
Looking back on the projects we worked on, I am most proud of thedirect mailerwe created for the OU Residential Colleges. I believe they look like something that OU would send out to students. Using assets and a brand that I understand, helped me to create something that I had a sense of direction with. Looking back on the designs, there are bits and pieces that I would fix up. Overall, however, I really enjoy the work I did on it.
Conversely, I wish I had invested more time and effort into all of the other projects that I did. I feel like I was close to getting exactly what I wanted, but either ran out of time or wasn't familiar enough with the programs I was using to create what I want.
If I could wrap up this class in a word, it would beproductive. Like I've said a few times now, this class was one of the first classes where I really felt free to be myself and create content that I can take pride in. Creating content that I enjoy making will ensure that other people will enjoy it as well, and that helps to bring people together and create a sense of community. It's these types of communities that would be a blast to work with, so I can help people to find or create content that they can enjoy.
Thanks Croom for an amazing semester! There's no way that I would've figured any of this out without you.

Thanks for hearing what I had to say, and I hope that you have a great day!
