This week was a bust for me in many ways. PR publications was supposed to be a work week on our video project but on Tuesday of this week, I only got B-roll for my group mates. Even so, the B-roll wasn’t even that good. I was not experienced in using tri-pods and got some shaky footage. Plus, my attempts at focusing the footage were shotty as well.

What’s really bad is that I did not get to attend Thursday’s class this week. So, I have to work on it this weekend because my car was damaged yesterday. I went too fast at a dip and scrapped the bottom of my car badly. It was fixed today but I missed many of my classes. (A side note: the guys who fixed the car had an amazingly cute dog and the dog gets to roam the property.)

This week was unproductive and terrible. The only thing I could reflect on is the very little progress I made in editing the video during some time at the Gaylord library. My main problem is finding suitable material to include in my videos. The interview one of my group members conducted was short and nothing really stuck out to me. There were few good pieces of film that I feel were good enough to make the cut. However, the video has to be 2 minutes. I’ll just have to find the next best film to add in with the rest of the footage.
