My name is Emily Cavallo. I am a student at the University of Oklahoma, a San Francisco resident, and a New York native. I am driven by the roots of my past and the possibilities of the future. I believe in the opportunities derived from hard work and perseverance, and am optimistic about making the future a better place. I believe in traveling, trying new things, and learning about other cultures in order to learn about yourself.
I am motivated by the healthcare and high-tech industries where I was raised and want to incorporate both fields into my future. I am guided by my peers, my family, and my surroundings; each of these aspects of my life help me align with my beliefs and create the path I hope to follow. I am motivated by the prospective future and the people closest to me. I am determined to be a better version of myself each day and to continue pushing until I have surpassed my goals.
Design is incorporated into my everyday life. At previous internships, I have used design to create documents, advertisements, and materials for the programs I assisted on. I believe design is a way to express yourself both professionally and personally, and can be used to paint a clearer picture of your project. I am excited to learn more about design and incorporate the skills from this class to become an all-around better student and employee.
