Writing a blog has been something new for me because I had never written or worked on one before this class. To be honest, I’m still not sure how I feel about it but I can say that it wasn’t/ isn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. I do believe that this domain will be utilized when looking for jobs because it shows work and progress in programs like InDesign and Photoshop. On top of that, I have heard that many people look for writing samples when hiring certain positions so this blog could be used to show just that. Personally, I don’t think I will blog out of choice after this class is over but if I did I would find a way to make my entire page more customizable. About pages and contact information are something I would also include if I were going to blogging.
If it somehow came down to me writing blogs for an internship position or part of a job description, I would now have a better idea of how to properly do it.
