After defining my first stakeholder I had more of an idea on how to come up with another kind of stakeholder. I didn’t base my two off each other so they are just two completely different ideas. My first direct mailer that I made seemed very cut and paste, very simple and clean cut. It was nothing special and I just used the very basic tools in Photoshop to make it. However, with my second one I had more ideas to make it not only look different than the last one, but also just pleasing to the eye, more complex hopefully. I tried to incorporate other shapes/designs/figures in the second one. I was influenced to do a more complex/different design because I thought my first one was just pretty boring to be honest.

Some similarities would be some of the basic tools and how to do certain things like inserting pictures or editing them. I personally think InDesign is much harder to work with than Photoshop, because I feel like there is more going on and ways to do things. I also have previously worked with Photoshop so that adds to the fact that I like it better. Overall it was a good week for me.

Here is a picture of my first and second mailer: DIRECT MAILER 2direct-mailer-1
