So here it is. The front and back of my business card. It’s kind of hard to see which is which since it’s on a white card but I’m obviously terrible with design and couldn’t figure out how to put like a black border outline or something.
This assignment, we were asked to make a a business card using indesign for our chosen company. It was hard to make this look good since the logo color is a darker red. I felt like any other color besides white wouldn’t look good because the colors wouldn’t have enough contrast. I was really nervous for this assignment, and rightfully so by the looks of how my card turned out. I just couldn’t figure out how to put cool designs in their to where it wouldn’t look like too much. For example, I tried doing the gradient tool where it would have a dark red in the corner of one side and then fade into the white, however it messed with the words so you couldn’t read them. I think my card is just too simple and plain. I was hoping for something that I was really impressed with myself for doing but didn’t know really what to do to make it better. I was just hoping for a better result and hopefully as I get more familiar with Indesign, I will be able to make improvements and get more creative.
