I believe that this is an important stakeholder because parents often play a huge role in deciding where their children attend college. This is especially true for students that are out of state.
This stakeholder is really invested in their child’s education and is able to offer them support for a vide variety of options. Because their child may possible attend a school that is far away from their home, this stakeholder really wants to know 1) Why this location (Oklahoma) is so special and 2) What are the benefits to this educational investment. This person understands the importance of a college education as well as the importance of allowing their child to grow in a new state, but they may want a better understanding of the unique qualities OU has to offer. These qualities could be the champion athletic program, the rich extracurriculars or the impressive academics.
