My name is Christine Murrain. I am a practicing perfectionist but I somehow manage to procrastinate in my everyday life (don’t worry though, everything is still done mostly perfect and in a timely manner). I have a deep passion and appreciation for film & television, you’ll catch me watching every televised award show this side of the equator from the comfort of my couch, live. Podcasts are pretty stellar, Netflix originals are gold and if you ask me, Lemon Slushes are by far the best thing available at the Sonic Drive in.

My family means very much to me and when it comes to friends I’m looking for long-term laughter, loyalty and love, if you’re not we can settle for a glorified acquaintanceship.

thumb_IMG_8268_1024.jpgIMG_5754.JPG In my past life I was a state-level spelling bee competitor, Youth in Government award winner and all around goofball, but these days you can catch me honing in on my PR and design skills and participating in some of the most rewarding co-curricular organizations offered at the University of Oklahoma.

I’m a U-Zoo 36 Porpoise, a Myer’s Briggs ENFJ-T and astrologically an all-around Gemini. In my free-time you can find me watching Academy nominated films and television shows, eating at the local Q’Doba, watching killer advertisements, PSA’s and previews, or day-dreaming about events I’d love to plan at OU.

I hope to one day serve as a Director of Community Relations for a large company and handle outreach programs and events. While minoring in Non-Profit I have grown a large passion for helping those around me and learning about how large organizations and entities can play a role.

I am really looking forward to the remainder of my time here at OU, but I am also incredibly excited to venture into the real(er) world upon graduation!
