1. What were you asked to do? In this unit, we were asked to create a direct mailer and read a chapter on designing for emotion.
2. How did you respond to what you were asked to do? In the beginning, I was nervous to use photoshop because I felt like I was just getting comfortable with InDesign, so I thought it would be difficult to switch gears to another program.
3. How did react to what you actually did? I watched videos on the topic of Photoshop and tried to think back to direct mailers that I got when I was looking for what I wanted in a university. I also enjoyed reading about designing with emotion because I think this is something that is very important.
4. Now go one level deeper: Why do you think your reaction was what it was? Like I said, I think designing with emotion is very important. I think that’s why I liked to read that chapter and try to apply it to my direct mailer.
