This week I was asked to design a letterhead to correspond with the business card for Earth Rebirth I started last week. I thought the letterhead was a lot easier to design than the business card. Even still, I had trouble with this assignment. I found that since I wasn’t really satisfied with my business card… Continue reading The Earth Rebirth Letterhead

A Week in Review: Unit 2.2 Reflection Post
This week was a very great week. We were asked to now start on our letterheads. These letterheads were to correspond with our business cards, since the two go hand-in-hand. Since I am still working with the whole InDesign program, I was excited to tackle this assignment. Once I got the document up and running, I was thrilled that the process was actually alot better. It was quite simple, once the logo and contact information was placed. I felt relieved…
Letterhead Reflection
This week, we began work on our letterhead. I ran into some big problems this week. Rather, I ran into one big problem. My InDesign was simply not working. Every time I tried to open it, it said it “has stopped working” and would crash. I spent probably four hours this week simply trying to […]
Peyton’s Blog 2016-09-29 03:15:10
This week I was asked to peer review three students and comment on a blog post. That was pretty easy for me and I enjoyed seeing what others came up with. Then we were asked to create a letterhead and write a letter from someone in the company. At first, I was so confused and […]
One business card design down…a lot more to go.
This week we were asked to start designing a rough draft of a business card on InDesign. For me this was a really daunting request. My experiences with InDesign are pretty minimal. I know how to do the basics but defiantly not design an entire business card on my own. However, I went into the week… Continue reading One business card design down…a lot more to go.
Creating a Business Card
This week we were asked to dabble around with a business card in InDesign. It ended up being more time consuming than I thought, but overall I had fun playing around with different designs, color schemes, and format. I definitely still have quite a bit of work to do but I’m pleased with the product… Continue reading Creating a Business Card
First Business Card!
Our first from-scratch assignment for our publications class was to create a business card for a company of our choosing. As discussed in a previous blog entry, I chose Boeing to cover. Here is the front of my business card. Please don’t dial the numbers because I won’t answer (they’re very much random): And…Read more First Business Card!
Business Card Reflection
This week was interesting; I was asked to make a draft of a business card in InDesign for Youtube, the company that I had chosen. I am not going to lie, this assignment was challenging for me. We had to start from scratch and create a business card on our own. At first, I responded … Continue reading Business Card Reflection →
Module 2.1 Reflection
This week in InDesign we were asked to start a draft of our business cards. With that came the research on our company that we chose as well as lots of brainstorming and analysis on Pinterest beforehand. Once I decided on JAIA Yoga Studio I was immediately excited to start designing, but first had to…
Reflection
For this assignment, I finally felt like I was able to use InDesign and was familiar with all of the tools. We were asked to create from scratch our own personal business card. This would be a reflection of the area of PR we are pursuing, the brand/organization we chose as well as our personal […]
