12 July – Reflection

This week in class, we were asked to provide feedback for each other on our business cards. We then went to a group member’s blog and left a comment on their business card post. This was cool because I took the time out to browse to see how my classmates are doing. I was really impressed by everyone’s business card and I hope my feedback will be useful to them.

After leaving my feedback,  I began designing my letterhead and wrote a memo for the letterhead. The draft of my letterhead will be posted later this week and I am excited for y’all to see it!

Overall, I reacted to this assignment positively because it was a little breather compared to the last two assignments. The last two assignments were really fun and education; however, they were very time consuming. This is was a little reset for me, so I can gear up for busy week of designing.

PS: I also looked up this app called Canva. It is an intuitive and streamline design app that allows you to design from a tablet. I have never used this app before but I am very interested. Some of the strengths of this app is that it allows you to design without a laptop or computer. Some of the limitations of the app are that most of the design specs are already loaded into the it, so you are at the mercy of their templates.
