a week in review

This week for PR Publications, I was asked to perfect my business card along with creating the first draft of my letterhead. After receiving great feedback from classmates, I was able to make improvements to my business card which in turn spurred the creation of my letterhead.

I am getting more acquainted and comfortable with InDesign. Fixing the business card was fun! I enjoyed messing around with fonts and doing more so the “fun” work of just improving the original copy.

I am proud of what I created! I like the design and “modern” approach of my business card and letterhead. There is still room for improvement though. I am trying to figure out how to get the true community and service feel addressed in both publications while also incorporating the faith aspect.

I think I reacted like this because I love to see progression and see a project from start to finish. For me, I didn’t know anything about business cards or letterheads but now I feel confident in creating both. Maybe not an expert yet, but definitely moving in the right direction. I really enjoyed this project. It let me mix creative with strategy which was pretty cool.
