Analyzing Alpha Chi Omega

For this lesson in PR Publications, we are working with an organization of our choice and analyzing factors including mission, competitors and core values. I am passionate about my sorority especially because I am highly involved in it. Alpha Chi Omega will be the organization I use for this lesson. Below is the current Alpha Chi Omega logo.

Alpha Chi Omega is a national sorority and true sisterhood. Although it doesn’t necessarily “sell” a product, Alpha Chi Omega strives to promote healthy and strong friendships to last a lifetime. Throughout philanthropic, academic, leadership and sisterhood initiatives, Alpha Chi Omega gives women the opportunity to grow and succeed in all fields and themselves.

Main competitors would obviously be other sororities in the National Panhellenic Conference. Alpha Chi Omega supports other sisterhoods but when recruitment time comes around, each sorority is looking for the best members. There are many national sororities so all of those are considered competitors.

As stated on the Alpha Chi Omega website, Alpha Chi Omegas are “real women, facing real issues, in the real world” and we navigate those challenges together. The Alpha Chi Omega experience is growth and celebration. We attack problems with a headstrong attitude and celebrate in even the little things. We always do our best to improve in the smallest of ways. At the end of the day, Alpha Chi Omega is a place to call home.
