Andalusia Ballet: Communications Strategy
Once again, I am tasked with a further expungement of my thoughts about Andalusia Ballet and the strategy I want to implement before creating a business card and letterhead for the organization. In this post, I want to share some of my inspiration and ideas for what the strategy of my designs will be.
I want to create sense of classic timelessness. I feel like the colors royal purple, silver, gold and black can be used to create this desired effect. Above all else, I don’t want the image to feel dated or antiquated. At the same time, a design or image that looks “cheap” would be just as bad.
I like a minimalistic approach, but I am concerned that by not having enough text or fill that the consumer may not grasp the message of Andalusia Ballet. However, in regards to using pictures of dancers on the cards, I do not want consumers to judge the information on the card by the quality of the dancer and focus on that instead of the information presented.

I focused on the four colors I chose earlier. I gravitated to luxury items as I feel that that closely relates to the product that Andalusia Ballet offers. I also found examples that possessed freshness and would appeal to a wide spectrum of individuals.

Honestly, I was quite disappointed in many of the “ballet” related business card designs that I found on Pinterest. I changed my search to focus on different types of artistic business and found some interesting museum business card designs. There really wasn’t any one particular design that I loved. However, I was inspired enough that I have a pretty good idea of what I think will look best!
