Boot Camp Reflection

This boot camp week was overall pretty challenging in my opinion! I think it was important to have the boot camp at the beginning so we are really familiar with all of the programs, but I underestimated the time commitment. Since the Gaylord Creative Lab was closed during the weekend for Labor Day, I thought I could get everything done on Tuesday before the quiz opened and closed.

However, this proved difficult because there were a lot of tasks to complete with the software. I made it work and didn’t find the assignments as overwhelming as I thought. This is because we had models to work with and could fix the InDesign project as we went along. Working with my classmates made it a lot easier so we could have second (and third) opinions on our work. Also we could ask each other questions to make sure we were on track.

If I had to make a recommendation for future PR Pubs students, definitely get started on boot camp early and work together!
