Boot Camp

Whew – that sure was a boot camp with a lot of information!

In this assignment, I was asked to review the basics in both Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign. I was then asked to complete a typesetting assignment in Adobe InDesign.
We used Lynda.com to view this material. Lynda.com is such a great tool to use for this class. Having this information in one place to review and refer to will be helpful as the semester continues.
I have previously worked with Adobe Photoshop, but Adobe InDesign is completely new to me, so I was a little nervous to get going. However, the typesetting assignment was helpful in getting me started.

Once I began, it was pretty easy to figure out the software. It was fun to play around a bit and find out what tools were where. Starting new things can be intimidating for me, especially when it comes to anything creative. However, this was truly enjoyable and I loved getting to use this tool!
