Building A Communication Strategy
As I mentioned in my previous blog posts, Analyzing My Philanthropy and Competitor Analysis, I have been doing research on St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in preparation for creating and designing a business card for this organization. Now, it is time to take my professional writing cap off (this was hard for me because I have always been OCD with grammar and sentence structure) and start visualizing how I want my business card to be designed.
The visual language of my business card will be vibrant. I want to use a variety of bright colors that directly relate to the atmosphere and culture of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. My visuals will be both type and image driven. I think it will be beneficial to have an image relating to the mission of the hospital, but also I think it will be important to include a brief slogan that will drawn my audience to my organization. I want this design to be bright in order to represent happiness, because admitting a child into a hospital is already hard and emotional enough. My goal is for my slogan and design of the business card to bring hope to these parents. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will help and care deeply for their child.
I have created an Inspiration Pinterest board that you can view here and a Mood Pinterest board that you can view here.
