Business Card: Draft 1
For this week’s assignment we were asked to created a business card for the company we are working with. I was actually really excited for this assignment because this is just the start of getting to use InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, and because I’m working with a company that doesn’t exist yet, I got to use my favorite program (Illustrator) to create a logo.
I love Illustrator and I love creating new graphics and logos in this program. It’s when I work in Illustrator that I feel most comfortable when designing.
So before I could actually work on my business card, I had to come up with a logo. I had actually already brainstormed what I would want the logo to look like before this class so I had a basis for the final logo design posted below.
Then came time to design the logo. At this point, I was pleased with my work, and I already had a vision going for what I wanted to the business card to look like thanks to my mood board and inspiration board on Pinterest. Based on these two boards, I came up with the design for the front and back of the business card.
This is just the first draft, but so far I’m really pleased with this design. I feel like it fits the vision and the personality I have in mind for this business, and I got to use all my favorite programs to create this. However, I am open to suggestions to make this design even better, so feel free to leave a comment!
