Business Card Draft Reflection

For my Public Relations Publications class, we were asked to create a business card using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign. We used Pinterest boards to create inspiration and direction.

I was excited to begin my first real project in the class because there is a fun feeling about creating the first project in these programs. The overall process, however, was a little bit frustrating. There were parts that were fun, but it is difficult to put thoughts into action when designing on a program that I know little about.

I think my reaction was frustration because I expected to understand the programs quickly. However, looking at the project now, I realize that I will learn eventually and that it is okay to start basic.

Here is the first draft of my business card without logos because I am waiting to get them until after the major event that the organization is hosting this week.
