Business Card Draft/Reflection

Voila! Draft one of my business card is complete. Simple, yes. Lacking vital information, yes. But, decent looking if I do say so myself. Over the next few weeks, I will want to add a few touches and more design elements. But, I think this is a very good start.

Reflection:

This week’s work was time consuming to say the least. We were asked to write four blog post, create three Pinterest boards and create a business card draft in InDesign. Unlike lesson 1.3, I did not wait till the last minute to do my work. This made it so much more relaxing. My response to the lesson was just to knock it out as fast as possible (which wasn’t very fast at all). Upon completion of the lesson I felt like I achieved a lot. I really want to make my business card awesome, but was hard. I want it to be simple, yet I want it to make a statement. It is harder than it sounds. Overall, I like the first draft of my business card. My reactions to this week’s work was fueled by motivation. I really wanted to get my lesson done on time, as well as create an creative business card. So, I’ll take this lesson and call it a win.
