Business Card Reflection

In my PR Publications class, I was assigned to create a business card for an organization of my choice. Since D&L Oil Tools is about to have their 25th anniversary soon, I chose them as my company of choice. I was very excited to create a business card, because this was my chance to execute everything I know so far in InDesign. While there were some points when I became so frustrated I wanted to smack the computer, I overall reacted calmly and open-mindedly while created the business card rough draft. I think I became frustrated at times because of the fact that I am still new to InDesign, so I don’t know as many tricks on the program yet compared to an InDesign expert.

Here is my rough draft… I like to think it’s simple and sleek.
