Business Card Reflection
This week was the first time we were given the opportunity to jump into InDesign and Photoshop to design our business card for our chosen organization. When this project was assigned to the class I automatically assumed that it would be challenging and boy was I right. This is by far more frustrating I ever imagined it to be! Having a design in your head and attempting to put in into a computer was challenging but I’m glad we started with this project because it really allowed me to learn the basics of the programs and to gain computer skills.
Having said that, I’m not disappointed with how my business turned out and I believe my project captured what I was trying to achieve, even though there were many things that could be retouched. I think I am reacting to my design this way because I am proud that I accomplished my overall idea and did it in a way that in my eyes, looked decent. It isn’t perfect, but for my first try I think it ended much better than I expected and I look forward to adding to my skill set with more practice.
