For my project, i chose to design social media covers and posts for Colourpop, a make up brand, and their new Spring Summer line. I tried to keep with their fresh, springy, and floral vibe with clean designs and script type font. I actually really like the way they turned out, I think mostly because the images that I pulled from the lookbook match the aesthetic that I like.

For the Facebook and Twitter covers, I chose a photo that features a single model in a pink floral background because I think it best represents the vibe of the collection. It also worked best with the narrow horizontal window that the covers allotted for. I stuck with that same springy feeling by using a cursive font with the title of the collection and “spring summer 2016.”Canva Reflection

For the Facebook and Instagram posts, I chose different photos to illustrate the variety of the collection and to work with the square shaped format. I had trouble adding text tot he photos as they were because of the contrast and  just didn’t really like the way it looked, so I decided to add a white border to them. This was inspired by the aesthetic of a polaroid and I put the text underneath so it is clear and easy to read.
