Canva Reflection

When I reviewed the instructions and assignment guidelines for Social Media Design Sprint I was excited to use a new creative tool and explore this website! I have heard of Canva before but never got to play around with it. We were asked to create a Facebook cover, Twitter cover, Facebook post, and Instagram post using Canva.

I chose to make my posts about a designer brand Rachel Zoe. I chose Rachel Zoe because I am in love with her brand and how she represents herself! I also recently got a summer internship with her so it was fun to play around with that!

Rachel Zoe recently opened a Pop-Up shop at The Grove in LA. This is a premier shopping community in LA and is major for her brand! She has been releasing all different social media campaigns and advertising about the Pop-Up shop so I started with researching her brand to get a feel with what I wanted to display.

I chose the burnt orange-ish background on my posts because she uses a lot of this color in her newest collection. I tried to keep the designs simple and elegant because her mantra is “boho chic.” I feel like the canva designs displayed this well because it was simple and cute all in one!

Once I chose the background I played around with the fonts and designs from there! Attached are my Social Media Design Sprint.  Canva Reflection Canva Reflection
