Ch 2

I really enjoyed this chapter, and Liked the relationship between human appeal and design. One thing I agree with, that I had never thought of,  is that human nature is is reflected in every aspect of design. My favorite quote from the chapter was “We humans project ourselves into so much of what we see.” Which is true because everything we see, we react to it because of the type of person we are.

Chapter 2 mentions Ricardo Mestra and his belief that “design doesn’t follow a strict grid: its organic.” I very much do believe that sometime design just comes naturally but I also belief that there are certain things that must be done in every design to be able to make it successful in what it is being used for. If its always free-flowing, it may not represent the correct image.
