Chapter 2: Designing for Humans
I throughly enjoyed reading this chapter, simply because I am fascinated with individuals various tastes when it comes to design. I found the section discussing the power of aesthetics intriguing. I agree with the idea that in order to sell a brand or an ad it MUST be aesthetically pleasing. In turn, it creates a positive emotional reaction, making the consumer think twice about buying that product or investing in that brand. However, there is a fine line. If an ad is too much, the mind can become overwhelmed and create a negative reaction.
Similar to chapter one, this book seems to have nothing I disagree with. I am anxious to continue reading!
