Chapter 2 of Designing for Emotion
Chapter two of Designing for Emotion speaks about how it is difficult to appeal to everyone and that we need to design for specific individuals or groups over the entire general public. I completely agree with the chapter in this aspect and how people can relate to abstract designs without the need of other people in our designs to make them enjoyable and relatable. I also agreed with the idea that apple products are cutting edge in terms of their design. I think apple products are clean and modern looking technology that allows them to be the most pleasing to the eye.
Truthfully. I didn’t find anything about this chapter that went against my point of view. The chapter really focused on how thing can affect the way we think and I couldn’t agree more with the points it made. Overall, I thought it was interesting and a great read about designing for and audience and the effects the design will have on the public.
