Chapter 3 Designing for Emotion

I enjoyed reading another chapter of Designing for Emotion. I agreed with the idea expressed in chapter three, of using emotional design to achieve human-to-human communication. By making personalities evident behind computer screens,  you can successfully target particular audiences and create audiences attitudes.

One thing that I didn’t expect to read in the book was when the author said to be aware of clashing personalities in the industry. The author advise to steer clear in those situations. I don’t necessarily agree with this advice. While I do see the meaning behind it, I think it’s often a good idea to go outside of your “norm” to experience new things, but be aware that clashing could result.
