Chapter 3, Designing for Personality.

Chapter 3 was really interesting to me. A few things I agree on were that people like things that are relatable to being human and not robot like. Like how the first Volkswagen was designed to embody a human face. I still think that car, if still in good condition, has such a classy and vintage look to this day. I also liked the idea of creating personas. It really is important to understand the many personalities that stakeholders have and being able to find those personalities and create different personas to market to is really important.

One thing I didn’t agree with was not changing the personality when some disagree with it, because that just means ‘they aren’t for you.” In some cases this would work, but if a large corporation were to market to a persona and one of their other personas which would be relatively large disagreed or didn’t like it, then they should change it to make sure they are appealing the correct audience. If it is just a few people or just trolls, I agree with the author to just “keep doing you.”
