Chapter Four: Designing for Emotion
Chapter four of this book talked about emotional engagement. There was a lot that I agreed with and relatively nothing that I disagreed with. One of the main ideas with which I agreed was that there is a velvet rope. When people can gain early access to something it makes them feel special and exclusive, which in turn makes them good customers and intrigues other people. The only thing that I was somewhat in disagreement with was the idea that many good responses are worth some bad responses. It is inevitable that companies will receive bad responses, but I think they must try to please as many customers as possible.
